Time based data can be automatically associated from source media. This can include caption data or logging information such as transcriptions, translations or shot logging.
Data shown in blue on a sequence is a virtual link to the source metadata. To modify the metadata/timing - you need to first link/copy it to the sequence.
This can be done by double clicking the caption track and then selecting to either copy one or all items from the log on the source media.
Alternatively, you can correct the timing on the original source by loading that, which means all other edits can also inherit the corrected metadata.
