sound in blackbird is represented by

individual audio tracks located under

the video tracks these audio tracks can

be mono as in a single track

or stereo represented by two tracks

and other track standards represented by

additional tracks the audio content on

the track is represented by luminance

values that equate to amplitude or

volume of the audio in this example of

my voice it's easy to see when i'm not

speaking as there is silence represented

by black when i do speak by grayscale

patterns full amplitude is represented

in white if audio is over modulated or

clipped it's represented in red a

software vu meter is also available on

both the source and edit side viewers it

can be toggled on and off by using the

letter u on the keyboard you can also be

bound to other keys on your keyboard in
