Within an Edge server watchfolder, Blackbird supports the ingest of additional metadata from a sidecar file in the following format:

• CSV

This is facilitated through the creation and delivery of one of more sidecar types

• Individual file/media metadata items
  • Example: Name 'Program Name', Source 'External Agency'
• Time based metadata - In and out point with metadata name and value
  • Example: 1s3f to 3s2f - Caption with value 'VOICE: This is a guide track'

These metadata files must exist in the same folder as the original media and will be added to the item within the attached Blackbird account accordingly.
